Valentina Lisitsa, piano - Rachmaninoff Prelude in g minor op. 23
'Prelude in G minor ' ,op 23, no 5 was completed by Sergei Rachmaninoff in 1901 . It epitomises Rachmaninoff's Russian nationalism , being rich in full chords , and with an evocative theme. Rachmaninoff himself premiered the piece in Moscow on 10th February , 1903 .....Valentina Listsa is a Russian Classical Pianist . Born in Kiev , Ukraine 1973 .
